Adverse Weather Cancellation

During inclement weather, the College may close its campuses. Cancellations will be announced as follows:

Day Classes - Announcement posted and broadcast by 7:00 AM.

Evening Classes - Announcement posted and broadcast after 2:00 PM.

Weekend Classes - Announcement posted and broadcast by 7:00 AM.

Events - All events on campus are canceled when the College is closed due to weather.

If an emergency requires the closure of all or part of the College's campuses, information will be shared through the following channels:

State of Emergency

If the Governor declares a State of Emergency for Essex County, NSCC automatically cancels all events, classes, and closes the College.
