Program Overview

The Child/Youth Advocate Certificate equips students with the academic foundation and hands-on field placement experience necessary to begin a career working with children, youth, and their families. Graduates are prepared to serve in various treatment settings, including schools, community agencies, residential programs, hospitals, and family homes. The program emphasizes prevention, intervention, and treatment strategies to facilitate positive change in the lives of young individuals and their families.
