Program Overview
The Radiologic Technology program provides students with the technical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to pursue a career as a Radiologic Technologist. This two-year program prepares graduates to perform diagnostic imaging, assist physicians, and contribute to patient care in various healthcare settings. Students will undergo extensive hands-on training and clinical practice at affiliated hospitals and medical centers. Upon graduation, students are eligible to take the national registry exam. Program graduates must sit for and pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) examination in order to work as a Radiologic Technologist. The ARRT oversees the education, ethics and examinations of all Radiologic Technologists.
Applicants to the RT program must meet the ethics requirements necessary in order to be able to sit for the ARRT examination after successful completion of the program. If you have any questions regarding your eligibility to sit for the ARRT exam, please check the ethics pre-application section at.
Graduates can pursue careers as Radiologic Technologists in a variety of settings, including:
